LocalView Internet v2.1 Help

In The Area

The In The Area tab at the top of the page provides access to services within a specific distance of a chosen address. This can include doctors, schools and hospitals.

Some results will have hyperlinks. Click on a link for further information from related web pages.

To find services for the selected area:

1. Click the In The Area tab.
2. Choose a service from the list on the left
3. All the services near the chosen location will appear, together with an address and the distance from the location. Click on the blue "Locate" arrow to be shown the service on a map.
4. If you'd like to be shown services that are further away, use the "Change search area to:" menus to pick a new range, then click on the blue search arrow to search for the services within your chosen distance .
5. If you want to search for other services, go back to step 2 and click on another service type from the list on the left.
