Getting Started
LocalView Internet provides you with information about the area around a selected location.
You can select the location by typing in an address or part of an address, and selecting the correct one from a list. You can also click on a map to select a location.
Once LocalView Internet has a valid address, it will update the web page with relevant information.
How to find information about a location
- Location Details
This provides access to local authority information for the selected address. This may include details such as planning constraints, boundary information, waste collection and local representatives. Some results will have hyperlinks. Click on these links for further information on related web pages. - Find The Nearest
This provides a quick look-up for the services and amenities nearest to the selected address. The name, details and distance from the selected address are listed in a table. - In The Area
This provides lists of services and amenities within a specified distance of the selected address. - On The Map
Shows a map centred on the selected address.
How to report an incident at a specific location
- Report An Incident
You can report incidents such as abandoned vehicles, potholes and graffiti directly through to the local authority. You can specify the location of the incident using an address search or map location.
